Warranty policy
1. The 12-month warranty period will start on the date of the invoice and will cover defects in material, design and manufacturing as described in this clause.
2. The warranty will apply in the countries the YOOS Team delivers.
3. The warranty will cover the hardware delivered while the warranty of open source software will be subjected to their own license provisions.
4. The conditions for the warranty to apply are that the items:
4.b. have not been exposed to unusual circumstances including power supply with excessive surges, supply pollution, too high or too low voltages, ...
4.c. have not been exposed to environmental influences, climate conditions or situations that can reasonably be expected to cause more than the usual level of wear.
5. The warranty will not cover damages due to poor handling during shipment and transportation damages done intentionally or damages due to gross negligence. Deviations of the item compared with illustrations or marketing documentation provided in this website will not be covered by the warranty. The warranty will not cover items which have been subjected to modifications.
6. If the client encounter a situation where the warranty may apply, he may lodge a claim using this website contact form (subject Warranty). A valid warranty claim will include a description of the defect and a copy of the original The YOOS Team will process the claim as quickly as possible and will propose solution(s) which may include repair, replacement with an equivalent item or refund.
6.a If there is any doubt about whether or not an alleged problem falls under the warranty, the burden of proof will be with the client who should submit all information required by the YOOS Team. The YOOS Team will then decide whether the claim falls under the provisions of the warranty and their decision will be final.
6.b When the YOOS Team require an item to be returned, the provisions of the Return Procedure will apply. When a defect has been confirmed as covered by the warranty, the repaired or replaced item will be shipped back at the YOOS Team expenses.
7. Repaired or replacement items will be guaranteed until the end of the original warranty period of the item purchased.
